Terry Gray
Gymnastics has been a very
important part of my life for over 30 years. As a youngster, my parents owned a
small club in Ohio where I began my involvement as a gymnast. When my
competitive career ended I was not ready to leave the sport that had been such
a big part of my life. While attending Kent State University I became an
assistant coach for the women’s team along side Head Coach Brice Biggin. I also began coaching at a small club, training
the girl’s team and within a couple of years I knew what I wanted to do. I
opened up FLYTZ USA Gymnastics Inc. in September of 1995. In a short time we
became the premier club in Northern Ohio. In 1999 I joined Mary Lee Tracy for
two years in Cincinnati where I helped train some of the biggest names in the
sport such as Kim Zmeskal and Dominique Moceanu. I sold my gym in 2005 and
moved out here to Vegas. I love it here because it never rains, in Ohio it
rains all the time. I have been very fortunate in my gymnastics career to be surrounded
by some amazing athletes, coaches and parents. I have had a great deal of
success and a lot of great memories. I am looking forward to creating many more
with the athletes, coaches and parents of Browns gymnastics. I am looking
forward to meeting all of you as well as helping your daughters reach their
goals.
